Sebuleni is a quiet compound in Nyali with just 12 apartments, tucked away on Neem Avenue. You can walk to Nyali Beach in about 15 minutes, and the shops are five minutes away by car. Each apartment has two bedrooms, and both have their own bathroom. There’s also a pool, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi and free parking.
In Swahili, “sebuleni” refers to “the living room,” the room where everyone ends up gathering. That’s the idea here. With only 12 apartments in the compound, it stays calm, and after a day or two you’ll be greeting the people you pass by the pool. Neem Avenue is a tree-lined street in Old Nyali, close enough to everything you’ll need but well away from the traffic. Start the day with coffee on the balcony, looking out over the pool, and go from there.
Made for couples, or a small family
The bedrooms have their own bathroom, so nobody’s waiting outside a door while someone else showers. The kitchen is semi-open, with a fridge, oven, microwave and kettle. Whoever’s cooking can stir the pot and still join in the conversation in the living room. When the afternoon heat sets in, the air conditioning takes over.
